Nina Butenko is a finance executive with 20+ years of experience across insurance, P&C, Life & Health, Dental, Group Benefits, and Annuities.
Currently serving as VP, Treasurer and Head of Finance for a leading digital life insurer in New York City, she has led acquisitions, full-cycle system implementations, treasury management, statutory reporting, and internal controls across multiple lines of business.
Known for her focus on process improvement, automation, and AI-driven solutions, Nina brings both technical depth and strategic vision to every role. She is recognized for her accuracy, compliance mindset, open communication, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of finance professionals.
Nina holds a degree in Finance & Audit from Prycarpathian University, an Associate in Macroeconomics and Audit from the International Management Institute (Geneva, Switzerland) — founded by Bohdan Havrelyshyn, one of Ukraine's most celebrated economists, member of the Club of Rome, and a visionary in Ukrainian business education — and an Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance from CPCU. She is a recipient of the Bohdan Havrelyshyn Award, presented to her personally by Havrelyshyn himself.
In parallel to her finance career, Nina is a licensed New Jersey Realtor, NJ Notary Public, and certified Ukrainian-English translator with 20+ years of experience. She is Co-Founder of UBC of America.
